Meow Mugs Cat Cafe IDENTITY
Meow Mugs Cat Cafe is a coffee shop based out of Connecticut that partners with a full functioning cat shelter and adoption center next door. They allow people to set up appointments to meet the cats and swing by the coffee shop afterward for a free drink with any donation above $10 to help the cats. The organization required a logo, branding, site, and signage.

The Process
When you think of cats, what comes to mind? For me, its those mischievous, silly fur balls that have a bit of an attitude but are love-able nonetheless. When creating the logo, I thought of my own cat, Beans. I wanted to filter her sometimes-grumpy, unbothered but adorable personality into the logo. I chose to juxtapose a seemingly grumpy cat with a fun and bubbly font, Brevia. I also chose bubble gum colors like pinks and purples to complement this.
