Oakridge Cooperative school
Oakridge Cooperative School is a small private establishment based out of Burlington Vermont. They take pride in their focus on a ‘progressive education’ revolving around the fact that every student is unique in the way that they learn, function, and thrive in school environments. After all, as Einstein once said, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid"

The brand identity
For this brand, I wanted to create something modern and sophisticated, but also exciting and fun. I chose to make a responsive logo pack so that there would be something to fit any use that the school may need. This allowed me to create two different marks that could be incorporated as separate design elements regarding curvatures, watermarks, and more. The graphic mark is meant to be able to stand alone just as a mighty oak does, or to be featured with the full school name as it would exist in a forest of trees. I chose a primarily warm color scheme because I want this identity to radiate happiness and excitement to further foster an environment where children can really learn.
